The Samsung Gravity (SGH-t459), for the T-Mobile Network, doesn’t support the 3G network, but that’s because it’s a “world phone” that offers 850/900/1800/1900 MHz support. This doesn’t take away too much from this feature packed phone, though. It’s a little different than its cousins (Samsung Propel and the Samsung Rant), but that’s because it was made for the T-Mobile network and isn’t a “smartphone.”
Not being a smartphone, the Samsung Gravity lacks some features like GPS and streaming video, but if you’re looking to save some money and get a phone that’s good for texting, talking and photos, the Samsung Gravity is a good choice. It does offer access to a decent selection of games, which increases its value a little if you’re into that sort of thing.
The phone has a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out and includes a tactile feedback when the buttons are pressed, making it easier to type messages to friends and family without having to resort to a lot of abbreviations because your fingers are tired of double or triple tapping keys.
On the negative side, some reviews across the Internet have stated that the battery life isn’t as good as advertised and could last a little longer.
Samsung Gravity Quick Stats:

Overall the Samsung Gravity isn’t one of the top of the line smartphones on the market, but if you’re not looking for a phone that does everything (like GPS), the Gravity is a good choice that will save you money. The highlights of the phone are its texting capabilities.
