RIM Blackberry Bold
The RIM Blackberry Bold (see PC World Review or CNET Review) is a feature packed PDA mobile phone that will get second glances when you pull it out to take a call, text a message or browse the Internet for information or entertainment on the large 2.75-inch half-VGA, non-touch screen that can display 65,000 colors at a very sharp 480x320-pixel resolution. The fact that it's not a touchscreen may be a deal breaker for some, but if you can do without touching the beautiful screen, you're going to be impressed with the way pictures and videos appear on the Blackberry Bold.
Also big and bold on this phone is the large and spacious QWERTY keyboard. Even for hands with slightly large fingers, the keyboard is fairly easy to use - for a smart phone anyway.
The phone ships with BlackBerry OS 4.6, the latest from BlackBerry that includes new icons and a slightly updated user interface.
Overall, if you're looking for your first smart phone or are a seasoned BlackBerry vet, the RIM BlackBerry Bold is definitely a phone to put on your top pick list when considering what PDA smart phone to buy.
