Pantech C630 (AT&T)
The Pantech C630 (for the AT&T network) (see CNET Review or the AT&T website) is a "candybar" design handset that's really rather ordinary and plain - even the color, grey. If you can look beyond the cover of this book, though, you'll see the insides aren't that shabby, with 3G and GPS support as well as some of the better multimedia features we've all come to know and love. And with this unassuming exterior hiding a wealth of features comes something else that's good - a low, low price. In these economic times, that's almost a great feature all by itself.

The keypad is roomy enough, with a tiny joystick above for sliding through menus and options.
And since the Pantech C630 is on the AT&T Network, it takes advantage of all the 3G services AT&T offers - like Cellular Video, Mobile Music and more. There's definitely more to this phone that meets the eye.
Maybe one good thing about having an unassuming looking phone that still has all the goodies on the inside is that it's less likely to be stolen? Hmm. Something to think about maybe.
The speakers are said to not be the greatest, but a pair of earphones will clear that up for you if you like jamming to music from your phone.
Overall, the Pantech C630 is an economical, practical and feature filled choice.
