The LG VX8360 for the Verizon network (see CNET Review or official Verizon page) is a small, light weight clamshell mobile phone with a surprising amount of multimedia capabilities. While it doesn't have a fancy touch screen or pull out QWERTY keyboard, the LG VX8360 for Verizon is good for midrange music lovers who want multimedia on their phone but don't want to throw down a lot of money. The phone is the next version of the 2007 LG VX8350. It's a little better than that phone - i.e. they fixed some of what was wrong with the LG VX8350 - but it's still a midrange phone.

If that's all you're looking for, though, or you have a budget to stick to, the LG VX8360 should be a contender for your hard earned money. The keypad is very functional, as long as you don't send a lot of very long text messages on your mobile phone.

The multimedia functions are what make this mobile phone such a value, though. Since it's Verizon, it has EV-DO, which allows you to connect to Verizon V Cast Video and Verizon V Cast Music with Rhapsody - this makes it easier than ever to get great music (legally!) to your mobile phone.

The LG VX8360 mobile phone has a great design, looking like an Italian Race Car might if it were a phone. (Think about that one for a while.) It's a clamshell mobile phone, but it still has a 'cool' and sleek look to it.
