The Huawei M328 (see CNET Review or ZDNET Review) is a mobile phone from a new Chinese company entering the ever expanding mobile phone market. The Huawei M328 is meant to work with the MetroPCS prepay network. It's a no-frills (really, no frills) flip-phone that's reasonably priced. It's not that there's anything wrong with the mobile phone. It's just a little ... boring maybe. It's decent for a pre-paid mobile phone plan, though.

The external display (when the phone is closed) isn't the greatest, but again, this is a low to mid-range phone, so you shouldn't expect too much. The inside main screen is functional and works well.

The glossy front of the unit isn't a really good idea as it's really easy to smudge it with fingerprints without even trying. Sometimes it's the small details that make or break a mobile phone.

The mobile phone has all the other basic features - phonebook, ringtones, alarm clock, etc. The Huawei doesn't support callerID wih photos, though. The internal screen could handle it, but for some reason they left that out. (Maybe it will show up in a future model.)

Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. may be new to the mobile phone handset game, but their entry with the Huawei M328 isn't too shabby for a first show. It would be wise to keep your eyes on this company in the future.

Overall the Huawei M328 mobile phone is a good choice for someone on the MetroPCS network who wants a decent phone for a decent price.
