The Pantech Matrix Pro for the AT&T network (see CNET Review or see it unboxed on Engadget) supports Windows Mobile 6.1 and has a full QWERTY keyboard, making it nice for the super texters (you know who you are. lol.) The round corners of the design give it a unique sort of look. The features "under the hood" aren't that shabby either. (If you're not aware, Pantech is responsible for the awesomely cool Helio Ocean. So, yeah, chances are this is gonna be a good phone too. Smile.)

The Matrix Pro's past is heavily tied to the Pantech Duo, but after releasing a popular slide out phone called the Matrix, Pantech's leap into the world of the smartphone was dubbed the Matrix Pro. If it sounds confusing, don't worry and concentrate on the mobile phone.

The slide out full QWERTY keyboard is a dream for those who like to text message - or compose emails - on their phone. With Windows Mobile 6.1, you can be sure that there's a lot of software on the phone to keep you busy - whether it's spreadsheets from work or emails to your friends and family.

Overall, this is a good phone if you want a full QWERTY keyboard on your phone for whatever reason. It doesn't have a touch screen or a super great camera, but this mobile phone is really all about the design. If you do a lot of typing on your phone, this should be on your "take a look at" list.
