The  Nokia E63  (see CNET Review or the Nokia Conversations Blog - which is kinda cool itself) is finally available in the US.  With a full QWERTY keyboard, this PDA smartphone is for those who are serious about their mobile phone and want one that's unlocked.

The Nokia E63 doesn't have GPS and the camera isn't the very best out there at the moment, but the Nokia E63 is a lot different than the Nokia E71, the E63's older brother who wears a suit and tie to work everyday. Seriously, though, the Nokia E63 is a little more 'friendly' than others have been and it shows, in the price tag too. Making a phone like this affordable will make a lot of people happy, especially those who are really into social networks (you know, Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, etc etc etc) and messaging. Yes, with that full QWERTY and giant screen, you knew there was going to be great messaging, didn't you?

Available in red or blue, the mobile phone's design tries to shy away from its siblings sleek business look ... and it succeeds. The Nokia E63 is different enough from the Nokia E71 that the differences are noticable. That said, there's nothing really wrong with the design on the Nokia E63.

The fact that it's unlocked (and available at the price it's going for currently) makes this mobile phone one that a lot of people in the States want to get their hands on. There's a reason, too. It's a pretty decent phone overall.
