Free Verizon Wireless CDM8950? Yes.
The Verizon Wireless CDM8950 (see CNET Review or official Verizon page for CDM8950) is a free flip mobile phone that doesn't leave much to complain about - well, when you factor in the price.
The phone does have access to V CAST Music with Rhapsody® and V Cast Videos, which makes it sort of a multimedia contender. Again, you have to factor in the free price (details and restrictions might apply!), but this basic phone has come a long way over the years - the result of a lot of trial and error when it comes to flip mobile phones.
It's got a lot of features when you think about it, including mobile web access. It might not have a touch screen or a QWERTY or twist and turn into some other type of mobile phone, but it's simple and the flip mobile phone style helps keep it safe, even if you drop it. (And if you drop phones often, it's nice to have them hold up decently.)
