Samsung SCH-r430 MyShot
The Samsung SCH-r430 MyShot for the MetroPCS network (see official Samsung MyShot page) is a great little camera that doubles as a Mobile Phone. Or is that the other way around? Either way, it’s not a bad little cellphone for the money, especially if you like pictures. If you’re a serious photographer, you’re going to miss a flash, but at 1.3 megapixels, the camera is about standard when it comes to Mobile Phones at this price range. It even has web access, which is a nice touch. It’s missing a touch screen and other high-end features, but if you’re on the MetroPCS network and need a decent entry level camera / Mobile Phone, this might be the one for you.

There aren’t a lot of features on this Mobile Phone (and it’s almost a year old now), but if you’re looking around for camera phones, this should be on your radar to at least consider. If you have more money to spend, you’re going to want to upgrade a little and get something with a better camera (and a flash!) if you’re serious about taking photos with your mobile.
If pictures are just a side curiosity, though, this phone isn’t going to be too bad. You’re not going to get super great shots, but very few cellphones actually take good photographs. So it all depends on how much you expect from the Samsung MyShot. Being a little older, you’re sure to be able to pick this phone up at a great price, which might make up your mind for you.
If you have the Samsung MyShot, we’d love to hear from you.
