Getting Good Karma
The basic idea of karma is simple: put good things out in the world and good things will return to you. It’s an apt ideology for Motorola to adapt as a new for their newest messaging-centric mobile phone. The Motorola Karma QA1 (official site) is not only an impressive overall package, but includes some really stand-out features that make it easy to believe good things are headed your way.
Though the design of the phone itself may seem similar to other, inferior models on the market, take a closer look at this mobile phone. The square design is chic and easy to handle, with just the right size, shape, and weight to it. A front panel slides up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard that is roomy and easy to use. But the extras are where this mobile phone really begins to shine.
Motorola Karma QA1 Quick Stats:
- Dimensions: 3.42” x 2.52” x .7”
- Weight: 4.97 oz.
- Screen: 240 x 320 pixels
- Camera: 2 MP
The Motorola Karma QA1 has all of the mobile phone standards – plenty of space for contacts, a customizable interface, an alarm clock and even a voice recorder. Add on special features like a music player, a camera for both stills and video, and perhaps most impressively a full HTML browser, and you start to realize that this phone is something a cut above the rest.
3G network speeds allow you to quickly access your favorite sites, and there are even short cuts to everyone’s favorite guilty pleasures, like Facebook and Myspace. The size of the screen means you generally need to scroll more, but the quality of the picture generally makes up for it. This phone will even let you stream video, though the quality is really not the best.
Overall, I think the Karma is an exceptional low package – especially for the price. Leave a comment below and let us know if you agree.
