HTC Touch Pro2: With Big Features Comes Big Bulk
The long awaited HTC Touch Pro2 has been picked up by both Sprint and T-Mobile as carriers, but now Verizon is offering the smartphone as well. What’s more, Verizon’s version of the same phone is offered for substantially less than its competitor’s counterparts. With a $150 difference in price, one has to ask – is there any difference in the product?
Don’t worry though, because I think you’d be pleasantly surprised. Verizon’s HTC Touch Pro2 is almost identical in both faults and its abundant features, making Verizon’s offer an all-too tempting one. Loaded with features galore, this mobile phone is perfect for those customers who live their whole lives on their phone and then some. While its bulky and somewhat off-putting size is hard to miss, it’s also hard to miss the tons of added advantages to a larger size.
Verizon HTC Touch Pro2 Quick Stats:
- Dimensions: 4.6 “ x 2.3” x .7”
- Weight: 6.3 oz
- Resolution: 480 x 800 pixels
- Camera: 3.2 MP
With the larger size, this mobile phone includes a beautiful and roomy larger touchscreen. Measuring at 3.6 inches, this feature improves the overall use of the mobile phone, making it easier to see text on the screen or to maneuver around it with your finger or a stylus. The tilt and click feature is attractive as well, making the screen easy to use even when its sitting on a flat surface. Another added bonus of the larger size is the roomy and solid QWERTY keyboard, which is so easy to use that it almost feels like a laptop instead of a mobile phone.
With added size comes a bit of inconvenience in carrying, sure. But it also adds some great design benefits to the HTC Touch Pro2 that are hard to ignore. With these basic design appeals and the loads of features, this mobile phone is sure to be a huge seller for Verizon, especially since they were smart enough to beat the competition’s price.
