Sharp FX (black) for AT&T Network
With a touchscreen AND a full QWERTY keyboard, the Sharp FX for the AT&T network is going to be liked by those who text and email on their mobile phone frequently. According to the CNET review, there's a lot of potential for this PDA smart phone, but there are some problems and drawbacks that may leave you wanting to wait until you purchase yours - at least a month or so. (Although in the meantime, you might just go with another mobile smart phone, unable to wait. We know how it is.)
In any case, the touchscreen on the Sharp FX is a little sluggish and slow and the user interface is a little - awkward - and the call quality isn't the greatest. The last may be due to the AT&T network, however. Also, there may be software updates to fix the other problems.
Those issues aside, this is a great multimedia phone for those who like to type on their phones. With a lavish and rich color screen, the Sharp FX is very reminiscent of the Sidekick Slide from Motorola. (Remember that phone? If so, leave a comment below!) The Sharp FX is definitely a modern smart phone, however, with full multimedia capabilities.
If you're looking for a smart phone for communication (through various means like text and IM and email) as well as entertainment (games, music, movies, and more), then the Sharp FX may be an option. As said, you want to take into consideration the current limitations, but remember that software and firmware updates may help alleviate some of the problems.
If you have the Sharp FX, we'd love to hear from you. Leave a comment and let us know what you think of this mobile phone. The style, design and features are all top-notch, but we want to know if the downsides are enough to be a deal breaker when it comes to this phone. Let us know.

i have it, and i really don’t like it.
there’s just so much that it lacks, even if they’re just little things. they start piling up.
i don’t have a data plan with mine,
but people i talk on the phone with tell me that they hear a lot of static coming from my side; i can’t lock text messages (which is kind of important for me since i’m so forgetful), the buttons to text are actually kind of hard to push in, and even when i’m texting, the text lags behind and my letters come out as symbols.
since everything’s so cluttered, it’s hard to call someone, especially if you’re scrolling through recent calls to find someone. it’ll just call someone farther down on the list when i’ve actually pressed on one person’s name.
it’ll randomly hang up on people, and then sometimes even call them back. and it actually keeps happening; i don’t know why.
maybe i’m just bitter, but this phone is terrible. i was so excited to get it, and once i did, i was so disappointed.
i mean, it’s a nice phone; it’s just not customizable at all, and there are all these tiny glitches that add up.
